Copy-edited a forthcoming title from Gestalten about natural and wild gardening, and how we can better align our horticultural practices with caring for our planet. I also provided additional research, fact-checking and text support during the copy-editing process.

Proofread The Joy Issue of DADDY Magazine; 130 pages of features, interviews and editorials focused around finding joy in dark times.

Designed the community strategy for Spiced Academy's alumni network, including user research/questionnaires, a multi-format events calendar and communications across newsletter, social and Slack. Also co-devised and edited the UX copy for the website.

Wrote this feature on Dapper Dan to market Gestalten's upcoming co-release with High Snobiety.

Worked with Doodle to develop content over six months to position them as thought leaders within the AI sector.

Wrote and edited communications by the aequa community centre for their community newsletter, Facebook, Instagram and Slack channels. I also assisted with content strategy and wrote communications materials for their co-working and community survey campaigns.

Worked with the AI Guild to engage their community of 1000+ data science practitioners via LinkedIn, newsletters, Slack and virtual events.

Researched and wrote blog articles and thought leadership figures for executives at a global company specialising in data enrichment and intelligence. Particular focus for these articles was placed on diversity in tech, and overcoming barriers to employment equity.

Worked with the #datalift team to promote their conferences via Slack, newsletter and LinkedIn- and moderated the event, onboarding virtual attendees to the conference software.

Ran Digital Editorial for Sleek magazine for 6 months, overseeing the strategy, commissioning, editing and publishing of the entire digital output, as well as co-authoring the digital marketing strategy. Highlights included coming up with innovative interview formats for digital, including this "sensory city guide" column.

My work with Sleek also involved a digital strategy that pushed the limits of Sleek's existing fashion and arts coverage, tackling social and political issues relevant to the creative ecosystems Sleek covers.

My role as Digital Editor for Sleek also involved devising content packets for major international events (film festivals, fashion weeks), commissioning local writers and line editing the output.

On behalf of the AI Guild, we collaborated with the AI Governance International team to host and market their "Responsible AI for Data Science" event series. Moderated talks hosted by the CEO of The Responsible Innovation Project and a former US Treasury Chief of Staff.

I headed the Content team for Data Natives, a 2-day conference focused on the tech innovations of the future. Devised and executed an end-to-end content strategy and a comprehensive social strategy, from 6 months before the conference until the day of. Also co-ordinated English language PR efforts (press release creation, press reachout, etc.).

Gave a talk at the inaugural UNIT festival about data privacy and governance, and how it raises ethical concerns particularly for the LGBT community.
